OVER, BEHIND

In this film, a self-help expert is forced to unexpectedly come face-to-face with his demons at an

inopportune time. This project exists for threefold reasons: 1. To explore the dynamic between words

and thought in the vacuum of mental health, 2. To provoke thought on how our minds are stimulated

without external entertainment, and 3. To show a man of color, in a lead role, go on a frightening

journey through himself [and live] and decide for ourselves whether he is better or worse having done

so. Over, Behind is meant to not only entertain, but to compel the audience to examine themselves on

the effects of compartmentalization of trauma and fear. This is a time-honored issue that is more

prevalent now than ever.
